Single-mode fiber optic mode simulation
In this video, we demonstrate a step-by-step simulation of Single Mode Optical Fiber using COMSOL Multiphysics. You'll learn how to model the fiber structure, set up boundary conditions, select appropriate physics (like Electromagnetic Waves, Frequency Domain), and analyze mode. Optical fibers can be used to efficiently transmit optical signals over large distances with minimal losses. Among the wide variety of fibers that exist, one important categorization criterion is if the fiber is multimode or single mode. To define a fiber profile, follow these steps: From the "File" menu click "New" to open a new project.

H3C Switch Optical Port Mode
This video provides a comprehensive guide on configuring and troubleshooting Combo ports on H3C Ethernet switches. In this documentation, SPC cards refer to the interface cards prefixed with SPC, for example, SPC-GT48L. In H3C network devices, a combo port (optical-copper multiplexing port) is a multifunctional interface that integrates two physical media: optical fiber and copper cable. H3C S5810 series Ethernet switch is a high-performance Gigabit Ethernet switch product independently developed by (Huasan) Co. Optical modules are widely used in switches, network cards, routers, and other communication equipment.
