Selection of High Voltage Compensating Busbar
Busbars are critical components that connect high-current and high-voltage subcomponents in high-power converters. This paper reviews the latest busbar design methodologies and offers design recommendations for both laminated and PCB-based busbars. OEMs first started using busbars in EV batter packs as interconnects for battery modules. High-voltage power systems form the backbone of the modern economy, ensuring the efficient and safe transmission of electricity from power plants to consumption areas. In cooperation with the customer, these can also feature TE's Bus Bar Insulation Tubing (BBIT). Good busbar design cuts losses, improves reliability, and supports flexible operation in systems like GGD Low Voltage.
