Esengo Towers, a joint venture between Orange RDC and Vodacom Congo, plans to invest $179 million over four years to deploy 1,000 telecom towers across the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to expand mobile coverage. DRC is the size of Western Europe and boasts immense natural resources, estimated at over $24 trillion in value, including 60% of all cobalt globally.
