The first reason it does not work is that the cable tray MEPSystem property is null, so the connectors cannot be found. In need to create an elbow that starts at a right angle and that has the ability adopt the angle of the routing of the cable tray. Here is the simple solution Create two type : 90 elblow and 45 elbow In the real world, to make a 45 elbow, we need two segments, to make a 90 elbow, we need three segments I've also tried to use some geometry forms in revit but no hope.
