ESCON devices are logically mapped to the FICON channel our proprietary Prizm Configuration Data Set (PCDS) to create a custom configuration (CONFIG-PRZ) for your environment. Prizm supports a wide variety of FICON topologies including Point to Point, Switched, Cascaded (ISL).
