Aramid FRP (KFRP) is a new type non-metallic composite which has been designed to be used as a strength member for access fiber optic cables. KFRP features of light weight, high strength, low expansion, impact and break resistance, good flexibility. Optical cable reinforcement is an important component of optical cable, generally placed in the center of the optical cable, its role is to support the optical fiber unit or optical fiber bundle, improve the tensile strength of the optical cable.
